The Chapel Street is a great place to go for shopping. Designer's Cloth shops, 2nd Hand shops and so many other interesting shopping outlet. There are also many nice restaurants and coffee shops.

Went for window shopping last Saturday. Even though didn't bought much other than the 5 AUD T shirt I bought from one of the shop.

Finally we stop at Jam Factory, Shopping Mall.

Had our Coffee break at Paparazzi Cafeteria. :)

Jam Factory has beautiful interior decoration. Even each coffee shop has it own uniqueness including Paparazzi cafe shop.

Pancake Parlour has the most impressive decoration.

Valuable Guidance

Finally I had the opportunity, had one to one photography session with Adam. :) . Went to meet him on Monday, then he asked me if I would like to join him taking pictures at Dockland after work. Definitely I said Yes. I have been to Dockland many times but, to learn from the 'Guru' this is something different.

5.30pm waited for him in front of the Camera House.

We walk and had a good conversation on our way to Dockland. As a 'student' I asked him with so many questions, trying to drain his brain and gathered knowledge about photography as much as I could.

Confidently he answered with my satisfaction on every questions I asked. Really admire his knowledge. He is a photographer currently doing free lance photography other than working at Camera House as part time sales manager. He had been travelling all over the world to 68 countries for 3 years just doing photography and get paid huge with amount of money. Then he get bored. 'I have no life' so he said and started doing other things.

Each pictures I took he commented and showed me how to adjust the setting. He advised me don't worry to much and don't push myself to hard. Just enjoy it. Time will come, just keep on practice taking pictures.

Patience and without hesitation, keeps on teaching me few tricks .

We walked for more than 3 hours but I don't feel tired at all

More new places discovered .

Then finally we walk our way to Finders street station.

Studley Park Boathouse - Melbourne

Studley Park about 5 km from Melbourne CBD. My friend a local Melbournian, took me to this place.

Nice place, at the 'highest' peak in Melbourne. Even though it was a hot day but, 'the green' and the lake made this area cooling down a little bit.

Nice place for a picnic

An old bridge crossing the lake.

Saw many people picnic, jogging and canoeing.

So peaceful, as for me busy 'admiring' the bridge.

Few shots of the bridge from different angle

Might come again some day having picnic here at Studley Park.

A Day at Formula One Race, Australian GP 2008

Never thought I would see Formula One Grand Prix. Never in my life. Especially in a scorching weather like today where the temperature was almost reaching 40C and track temperature was recorded 50 C. But I did.......

Just because of my new passion, sacrificed myself in this hot and dry condition. Not really sure if I would go again to watch any of the GP event anywhere in the world.
How I wish I have the photographer pass, where they have privilege to get a nice spot to take pictures.

Walking around the entire track, and take which ever nice view/angle I could find but still, the fence really distracting the view. Hmmmmmmm

And the ridiculous rules, this year you cannot bring in telephoto lenses more than 300 mm. The security will check it at the entrance gate.
I watched yesterday news, most of the people felt unhappy about this 'new' rules.

Really disappointed and I don't really enjoy it.

Moomba Waterfest - The firework show

Three nights in a row, there were firework show during Moomba Waterfest 2008. Looking forward for each show. Managed to capture the moment for each night. But my second night out was a disaster, I couldn't get a good view. So sad. But anyway rest of the nights were really great.

First night was really nice. Finally i know the trick. At last.

Was a great show and good results. I like.....

Even, Adam like it very much.

The third night, I went further away. I want to get the view of Melbourne CBD during the firework show.

I managed to get a nice place and with a nice view of Melbourne CBD. Not many people was around only few other 'friends' with their camera.

The firework show from a different angle.

Nice, really enjoy it this time. 3 days of firework show. Hope my next shot will capture firework show at Sydney Harbour.
