Bendigo - Historical and Diversity

My second visit in Bendigo. This time had the opportunity to spend more time in the town area. Weather was great that day. Bendigo as a reminder of the rich history built from one of the world’s most exciting gold rushes. More gold was found here between 1850 and 1900 than anywhere else in the world.
The city is literally built on gold, gathered from the rich gold-bearing quartz reefs. Not really interested to see the gold mine area since I had seen it in Ballard. Bendigo full with impressive Victorian buildings line the wide streets.
Difficult to get halal food here, finally bought take away food from a Turkish restaurant (there are two Turkish restaurant in Bendigo) and had lunch at Bendigo's Rosalind Park. Nice, pleasant, quiet park.

The park had conservatory with Ros garden surrounding it.

Located in the middle of Bendigo Town.

'Glorious Day'

(Taken with my Nokia N 82)

I really missed my clinical work. Seeing patients and talk to patients. Really nice, listen to them empathy and sympathy. I learn alot from them. They who thought me so many things indirectly. As for me, I will always try to help them when I could. They were always sincere {not everybody though, :) }, but the main thing I like to see them most, whether they are 'Datuk', 'Tan Sri' or just an ordinary people, they really appreciate who I am. Even though sometimes I thought I didn't do much, just listen to them and talk to them, still they really appreciate it very very much. In compare to reality seldom had those experience instead I was 'back stab'. Hmmm anyway, that life.
Today the whole day, I spent my time at Austin Health (Hospital). Did setting up my research area and pateints recruitment. Even though i felt so ehausted but I did enjoy it. Deidre , my Research Nurse told me to relex a little bit. I just smile at her and continue my work.

House Routine - Groceries

My PhD colleague told me that ALDI store was not far from my place. It located at Gordon street, Footscray. I know where it is. I walk and walk and walk, it took me about 20 minutes to reach there. Half an hour did my groceries and another 20 minutes walk balk home. Well as if I did another workout today other than my usual morning Jog routine.

Computer Market at Victoria University

Just realise that, a computer market at Victoria University this morning after my morning Jog. So coincidence today I thought of going to Office Work at High Point and get SD memory Card there but it was really handy, the market just near by my house.

I am sure I will get cheaper price buying the SD memory card at this Computer Market. Which is true.

I bought the 2 GB SD memory card which cost me only AUD 19while at Office Work or JB High Fi I have to pay about AUD 23. There are other accessories, software and computers you can get it here.

My Day at Melbourne Internationl Motor Show 2008

Saturday was the opening day for Melbourne International Motor Show 2008. As expected there will be many people coming for the exhibition at Melbourne Exhibition Centre. The exhibition will be here until 10 march 2008

Arrived at about 11.30 am. Me and Zul spent time more than 3 hours in the exhibition center.

Later in the afternoon, more people coming and not even enough space to move. We even have to 'fight' just to get into the car. :) , for taking our pictures in the cars.

Exhausted but really enjoyed it. Towards the end of the tour I have been selective to take pictures.

Melbourne International Motor Show 2008 -

We started our tour visited BMW section. Always one of my 'dream car' other than Audi and Lexus but not sure if I could have it. Anyway no harm of dreaming to have this car.

Like the color, Red. Striking and firing.

Another BMW model which attracted me.

Ford Cars. Some of the model display. The New Ford Falcon, cool blue color.

Australian Car. New Holden, Coupe 60.

Honda. Most of the car display i have seen before. This is their new Accord.

Hyundai: Sportive. Nice color and look.

Hyundai: Elantra and Tuscan

Kia: Picanto. There are also other model display but this the only car where nobody dare to get in. :)

Land Rover.

I really like how Lexus Company set up their display. Absolutely stunning and beautiful. Not to mention I like Lexus' cars.

Lexus : Metallic and Striking.

Mitsubishi.

Nissan MICRA. Small and Cute with metallic pink color.

Peugeot: Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr...

The Renault Megane Sedan. From AUD 24,990.00 you won't want to miss this. :)

SAAB: Move you mind

Skoda: Simply Clever. The Yeti concept is Škoda’s fresh interpretation of the SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle) and a tangible demonstration of Skoda’s design capability and innovative thinking.

Subaru: One of Impreza range.

Toyota: Look futuristic.

Volvo: Nice family car but not for me.

Alfa Romeo: Alfa Brera. A stunning incarnation of the imagination, the Brera is a hallmark of Alfa Romeo's new generation.

The Brera has redefined automotive boundaries; from stealing the show as a concept car, to offering an Italian exotic experience at an accessible price, with seating for four.

Wow Audi. Orange color. :).
The Audi TTS takes Audi's iconic coupe a step closer to becoming a junior version of the company's R8 super car, with a 200kW turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder

Some other cars at the Melbourne International Motor Show including the Formula One Car.

This bike really 'haunted' me . Nice but expensive. Hmmm I can't imagine if I could drive this bike.
