Had an absolutely exciting time socialising with my fellow Honours, PhD students, staff and lecturers from my Department last night. "Hang Out" out at Saddon less than 5 minutes drive from campus to celebrate members of our department for their achievements their. Had our celebration and dinner at Thai Seafood Restaurant. I am a bit careful though with the food but basically I just choose some seafood meal. I had been the center of 'consultation' and being asked which food they should have, as if that I am Thais. Some of them knows that I could cook because I had invited them coming to my open house during Eid Celebration. I just explained approximately what are the foods all about.
It was kind of Aaron to choose Thai Seafood Restaurant for dinner since he knows I am in the group. He knows a little bit, things I could eat and what I cannot eat. So he assume Seafood will be OK with me. Thanks Aaron for the thought. :) .
Before dinner we went for drinks. It was on Brad, Aaron and James treat. I have told James and Brad I don't take alcohol but can take Coke. I don't want to let them down and to appreciate their invitation. Brad said "It fine with me", and offer me to drink as many cokes as I want. He did actually bought me 3 glasses of cokes. Hmmm
James Zois (left) and Bradly (right) two of three celebrated guys. James just recently passed his Honours degree with Distinction and had been offered PhD scholarship. Good for him but he has not make any decision yet. He asked me for opinion, gave my opinion about it but now it all up to him. While Brad had been promoted to a better position and better pay in the department. He is actually the main person in charge the laboratory. He always been kind to me, each time when I need to use any of the equipments, he will get it done and ready for me.
