EPL 1 and the OM lenses

I had a new addition to my gadget collection. EPL 1, It is an entry level for Olympus Pen series. Small, body like other compact digital camera but it is actually a DSLR. Mini DSLR. Nice I could carry all the time, everywhere and anywhere.

The EPL1 like other EP series, had capability of interchangeable lenses with built in HD video camera. Have been influence by Zul, David William and Adam Moore, now I am slowly using old OM lenses (manual lenses), collecting suitable and interesting OM lenses too.

Point of Napean: Walking to the end of the point

The weather was really nice that day. Me, Zul, Zainah with family and Lajiman with family went to the point of Mornington Peninsula; Point Napean National Park. Approximately one and a half hour drive from Dandenong. Quite surprise though, by the time we reached the entrance of Point Napean National Park, lot of people had started queing . It only 10 am and the gate only open at 10 am. I think because it was a long weekend and people already on the move to enjoy the long break.

Going to the end of the Point of Napean, it either walking, cycling and taking a tractor ride with tour guide. As for us, we decided to take the car and park at a designated area then walk for about 4 km to the end of the point. Interesting journey and nice walking along the pathway.

At the end we spent more than 3 hours walking to and from the point. It was really nice and I managed to walk more than 16 000 steps just walking to and from the Point of Napean. Cool... :-)

I went there last week on Saturday, 27th March 2010. I think this time round was not the best flower and garden show compared to last year the the year before. I thought 2008 show was the best. Anyhow, I went day to play around with my new gadget.

Art of Egg Shell

Deanna Mills, 72 years of age is one of my patients wife, Tony (77 years), has an interesting hobby decorating Eggs Shell. All kind of eggs shell, from quail eggs to Ostrich eggs. Anyhow, I have actually put in some of her work of art as one of my entry last November. Recently I have been contacted by a Co-editor of Woman's day Magazine, to ask my permission and use one the pictures I have taken in relation to Art of Egg Shell for their April Easter edition.

Today I have seen my Art of Egg Shell picture in April Easter Edition of Woman's Day Magazine. :-)
