An Apple A Day

Freshly picked apple. Located just before approaching Bendigo. A huge Apple Orchard you will never miss it.

Really fresh and no wax. Hmmm. So crunchy....

Few type of apples you could find here.

They have names.

Anyway if you on your way to Bendigo don't forget to drop by. They don't only sell Apples but all other kinds of fruits and vegetables from their farm.

Bendigo - placement

Rented a car on Saturday. Felt it will be much comfortable and convenient for Anuar, sending him to Bendigo. First time I drove long distance journey. Three of us in the car including Zul and Anuar. Zul brought along his GPS made the journey much easier and the GPS also reminded me the speed limit. Each time I drove more that the limits, it will beeping. Huh... but at least I drove safely.

We reached Bendigo hospital about slightly more than one and a half hour. Anuar went and took the house key and off we went and search for the house. Fortunately we have the GPS it really help us a lot.

Not bad at all, nice furnished house. Not sure how much he paid for the rent but then It going to be cheap since it part of the hospital house for the doctors. He will stay with somebody else. Not sure who he/she is. Since he don't have own transport, he need to walk to the hospital. I assume it will take 15 to 20 minutes, sure he need the walk as part of his daily 'exercise routine'. :) . So all the best for my dear Anuar hope you will enjoy your stay in Bendigo for the next one year.

Sunset at Pier Station

Amazing. Breathtaking. Beautiful.
Sunset view at Station Pier, Port Melbourne

Queen Victoria Liner

Heard about the news one week earlier coincidentally while browsing Internet looking for current activities in Melbourne. The Arrival of Queen Victoria Liner at Station Pier and a firework display on the ship departure at night.

Am looking forward about the event. Interesting, one of the luxuries ship in the world is in town. Opportunity will not be missed.

Station Pier, Port Melbourne

Took tram line no 109 to Port Melbourne at Junction of Swanston Street and Colin Street. The journey took about 15 - 20 minutes. We reached at Station Pier 15 minutes to 7 pm. Still have plenty of time before the firework show.

So many people at Station Pier. Everybody want to see the Ship, Queen Victoria luxury liner. The ship harbor at the pier at 7.00 am.

It was a nice day yesterday, sunny and slightly winddy. Really nice. Fortunately we took a tram (anyway we don't have own transport), it was really pack yesterday.

Went took pictures of the ship and later find a nice spot for night pictures.

Queen Victoria Luxury Liner at Station Pier, Port Melbourne

The Queen Victoria Liner arrived at Station Pier, Port Melbourne at about 7 am. Melbourne was it first stop in Australia.

Had the opportunity to see the 'Huge Ship' and one of the luxuries liner in the world. Launched only last December at Southampton in Britain.

The 16-deck luxury liner is the second-largest Cunard ship.

Amazed with the size of the ship.

If you wish to have an experience traveling on this ship. You have to pay from $321 a night for a standard room to $2680 for a grand suite that covers about 200 square meters. Oh my god......

Not for me though, might spend for something else. But it was really great to see the second largest Cunard ship at Station Pier.

Queen Victoria Luxury Liner - The Departure

It time to go. After more than 12 hours docking at Station Pier, Port Melbourne it time for one of the luxuries liner in the world to go. Huge crowd at Port Melbourne, everybody wanted to see the ship departed.

Waiting anxiously and prepared to capture the 'historical moments'.

At 9.15pm, the ship stated to move accompanied by firework display.

The firework show lasted for about 15 minutes.

Great firework show as usual, and so long 'Queen Victoria'. Have a nice journey.

From now onward, I will be occupied during weekdays not in campus but in Austin Health (Hospital), Heidelberg. Been waiting for this time and looking forward to start my ultimate task for my PhD project. Had our discussion on place and staffing for my study not to mention cotinuous budget. It was a great start today but still along way to go. I always pray I will have a smooth journey for my data collection. My supervisor and the cardiologist have been always helping me.

Daylight Moon

Moon appears during day time.

Footwear Hassle

I am always fussy when buying shoes. I will spend hours just to find a right shoes for me and even it will cost me a lot. That what was happened today. With the kind of my activity here in Melbourne most of my shoes will worn off less than two months.

Blessing in Disguise

An incident had happened
Was so preoccupied about it
But..
Am always think positive about it
May be it a Blessing in Disguise
And I will get over it soon.

Mosque in Melbourne

One of the few mosque in Melbourne. On our way to footscray from Tulamarine Airport, we went through Ring Road and just before Sunshine, we noticed this mosque. At least I know there is a Mosque all the way on Ballarat road eventhough it about 15 km from Footscray.

Winter Sonata - From The Beginning Until Now

Michael Learns To Rock - That's Why (You Go Away)

Duran-Duran - Ordinary World

DURAN DURAN
"Ordinary World"

Came in from a rainy
ThursdayOn the avenue
Thought I heard you talking softly
I turned on the lights, the TV
And the radio
Still I can't escape the ghost of you
What has happened to it all?
Crazy, some are saying
Where is the life that I recognize?
Gone away
But I won't cry for yesterday
There's an ordinary world
Somehow I have to find
And as I try to make my way
To the ordinary world
I will learn to survive
Passion or coincidence
Once prompted you to say
"Pride will tear us both apart"
Well now pride's gone out the window
Cross the rooftops
Run away
Left me in the vacuum of my heart
What is happening to me?
Crazy, some'd say
Where is my friend when I need you most?
Gone away
But I won't cry for yesterday
There's an ordinary world
Somehow I have to find
And as I try to make my way
To the ordinary world
I will learn to survive
Papers in the roadside
Tell of suffering and greed
Here today, forgot tomorrow
Ooh, here besides the news
Of holy war and holy need
Ours is just a little sorrowed talk
And I don't cry for yesterday
There's an ordinary world
Somehow I have to find
And as I try to make my way
To the ordinary world
I will learn to survive
Every one
Is my world,
I will learn to survive
Any oneIs my world,
I will learn to survive
Any oneIs my world
Every oneIs my world

Blue-blue sky

Clear
Fascinating
Loooking at you Up High
You are beautiful
Made me so peaceful
Each time I look at you
Blue Sky
