Buckingham Palace, London

The Buckingham Palace.

It was an ultimate place to go in London. I have never imagine I would come here someday. Well some dream may come true.

So many tourists visited this place that day. I think almost everyday.

Buckingham Palace is the official London residence of the British monarch and located in the City of Westminster.

Huge area with interesting monuments/sculptures.

But I like the guard in front of the Palace. Look so refreshing and beautiful.

The Guard Changing
Ceremony

Looks like a toy soldier.

Suppose to start at 11.00 am , everybody waited eagerly. Finally it started at 11.30 pm. It part of tourist attraction. You could see the ceremony everyday at the same time. It was really impressive and interesting. The costume they wear make it more interesting. The characteristic of Buckingham Palace guard.

Hay's Galleria Southbank , River Thames

Built in the 1850's, Hay's Wharf took deliveries from ships from all over the world and the area became known as the 'Larder of London'.

The great Hay's Wharf complex has been restored to its former glory and those who visit the Galleria today stand on the same spot where the tea clippers from India and China edged their way into the dock 150 years ago.

It an interesting place. I discovered it accidentally while on my way back towards the London's Eye.

There are a lot of Restaurant .

Interesting place to stop by and have a cup of Tea.

St. Katharine Dock, London

Situated next to Tower Bridge and the Tower of London, St Katharine Docks has been the focus of worldwide trade and commerce for over 1000 years.

It’s quite easy for a visitor to walk over the bridge without realising the Dock is where it.

I have found this place accidentally. Beautiful

Historic Royal Palaces, Tower of London

Located besides River Thames and Tower Bridge

The entrance tickets for Adult is 16.50 pound.

Historical building, look beautiful from outside.

Just get myself busy admiring the building without entering the Palace.

Would love to get in side someday.

Palace of Whitehall

The Palace of Whitehall was the main residence of the English monarchs in London from 1530 until 1698. The palace gives its name-Whitehall-to the road on which many of the current administrative buildings of the UK government are situated.

Some of the view form the garden inside the Palace

Road to Palace of Whitehall

The Palace Guards. Fierce look...... :-)

"Smile you are in Candid Camera". Look so tired. :-).

They were really tough. They need to stand for few hours and ignore what ever tourist did to them.

The Original London Tour.......

I took a one day tour Bus and River cruise to discover London Metro. I bought the tour ticket from The Original Tour for 15 pound inclusive River Cruise.

Sat on top of the Double Decker bus. I could see the view clearly. It was hot and humid though but who cares...... :-)

One of the famous Cathedral in London....

The famous building.... sorry forgotten the name of this building. I still can remember so many years ago..., :-) ,after watching any UK TV production for example the saint, the avengers etc... they will show this building and River Thames at the end of the show.....

Nice city view with historical architecture....

I sat on the bus for more than 2 hours...I get bored...Immediately get off the bus in front of Palace of Whitehall (initially I thought it was Buckingham Palace).

From Palace of White Hall, walk to catch the river cruise.

As expected, I have to line up. So so many people. Even I have to wait for the next River Cruise. :-(

Once I managed to get into the River Cruise, find a nice spot for me to take some pictures...

Ironically, the tour guide is an Australian. :-). Can't missed that accent.

Catch a nice view of London Metro from the River Cruise. It was breathtaking.

An old Jetty

New and also interesting bridge architecture.

The most interesting of them all. :-) , The Tower Bridge.....

Battle of the backyard

Mike has a beautiful garden at his backyard. Small but so colorful. Well take care of by his wife and the kids. The sun came out as early as 5.30am. Woke up early, the first thing I would like to see is the garden. So refreshing.

Get into the garden and had breakfast in the garden.

A 'bird house'

A little bit fancy and made a little bit noise when windy

Surprise surprise, an apple tree with lots of fresh apple. Just plug it and wallah...enjoy

Lots of colorful flowers.

I notice that almost every house decorated their garden beautifully.

Mike's garden visitors.

I can spend hours in the garden just admiring wonderful colors of mother nature.
