ANZAC Day - Melbourne

Friday 25th April 2008
An ANZAC Day.
Australia's most important national occasion. It marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War. ANZAC stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps.
The pride they took in that name endures to this day
The Anzac Day Parade. In Melbourne CBD the parade took place from Swanston street, St Kilda Road until The Shrine.

The tradition. The current army in service

and the veterans marching with pride

An honour to be remembered and appreciation from the country to whom had served for the nation.
