"Mee Rebus"

Had dinner at Banana Palm Curry House. Ordered "Mee Rubus" and "Ice Kacang". It supposed to be mee rebus. Hmmmm. Anyhow the 'Mee Rubus" was good and tasty. But I am not impressed with the Ice Kacang. No taste at all. The Ice was so rough and I need to add ice cream and coconut cream to make it slightly better.

Pick Your Own Berry - Blue Hills Orchards, The Journey

Had planned going for berry picking with Zul one week earlier. We thought of going last weekend, but no public transport in service on weekend to this area. At first only two of us but then Zahri and Wan were joining us last minutes. Other wise we have rented a car. But it alright , it was nice to go with a big group.
Took Belgrave train line early morning (the earliest train to Belgrave) then took a bus towards Lilydale (Bus 663) and stop at Parker Road, Silvan. From the junction of Monbulk and Parker Road we have to walk for half an hour. :) . Good job guys, hehe as for me it was part of my daily exercise so no problem at all. Enjoying the scenery while walking to the farm.

Blue Hills Orchards is not the only berry farm in these area. There are few around Parker Road, but I choose Blue Hills Orchards by my instinct. I did research about berry picking since a week ago and called the farm to get further information.
Reached at the farm about half past nine. Not many people yet, we are actually the first to come then few minutes later 2 other groups arrived. Paid AUD 10 per entry included 1 kg of berries for each of us. Additional need to weigh it and pay extra.

(some part of the farm area)

It was a great weather, shinny and warm initially. The farm area is huge. Many types of berries grows in this farm.

We spent 2 hours in the farm. By the time we went back , buses of tourists start pouring to the farm. So fortunate we came early.

We was really lucky by the time bus arrived and picked us up, it started to rain heavily.

Pick Your Own Berry - Blue Hills Orchards

Was really excited to pick my own berry. Now is the time to experience it. Yesterday the weather was great initially but becoming hotter later before ending up raining when we went back home. So fortunate.

There is a row of plums tree grows in the farm. I ask permission from the owner (since it was not in our agreement) if we could pluck it . She just smile and nodding her head.

Then the way we start picking our own berries. Really great.

First few rows was the Boysenberries. Hmmm frankly I have never seen this type of berry before. Yup it was really interesting. I ate almost non-stop while picking the boysenberries. Mmm really fresh and sweet.

Wow strawberries. Mmmmmmmmmm fresh strawberry. Most of the time other than taking pictures of the strawberries, I picking and eat and picking and eating and picking and eating and........non stop. :) .

Really nice. Want some ?

Raspberry, small but really nice and sweet. I have lost counted how many I have ate.

We have been told there are an area with expensive berries and this is it. The Blackberries. Mmmmmm the most delicious and juiciest among them all. So fortunate there are many of this kind today. Spent most of the time at this area eating blackberries.

Blackberry

Strawberry

These are the berries I had harvested. It was 2 kg after weighing. But I am not sure how many kg in my stomach. :).

Was really exhausted after 2 hours of picking berries. But I do enjoyed it.I am bringing back home all the berries.

The flowers at Blue Hills Orchards

As usual I always attracted to flowers. Not intended for 'picking' though. :) . But it grows here at this berry farm.

Happy Eid-Ul-Adha

Would like to take this opportunity wishing everybody who celebrated Eid-Ul-Adha, Happy Eid Adha Al Mubarak.
Most of the Muslims in Australia celebrated Eid-ul-Adha yesterday.
I called Aznan yesterday morning at 6.30am told him that I would like to go to Dendenong for my eid-ul-adha prayer. He and Mohd Noor fetched me at Clayton Train station and straight away went to Monash University for our Eid-UL-Adha prayer. Nice to see, a Malaysian lead as Imam and Khatib for yesterday occasion.

Eid-ul-Adha Al mubarak - Open House

After Eid-ul-adha prayer, as usual went to Aznan's place. Waiting for others to come and join us going for open houses at Clayton.

First stop, went to Fahmi's house (in green). Nice house with plum's trees in front of the house. Met him once before. Was really great opportunity meeting other Malaysian especially during eid-ul-adha.

Hmmmmmm really nice and juicy.

Some of the guests came to Fahmi's open house.

Second stop, Anang's House .
"Selamat datang, please come in.......". Anang invited us to come in. Aznan had already surrendered and stop taking any foods. Not for me of course. The trick when attending to this kind of function is try everything/eat everything what they served in small portion. :)
Some of Anang's guest. Nizam in light brown 'baju melayu' had Pentax too. We have became good friends. We had good conversation talking about photography. He also a beginners like me. :)

" Please come again".

Our last stop was a social visit to Badrul house, Bad's wife injured her knee 2 days ago while shopping. She used crutches. Once Aznan told her that I am a physician specialise in sports and injury, she asked me alot of questions. :) .
Everybody was really exhausted. Reached Aznan's house at 2.00 pm. Had a break for a while then went back home after that.

My new obsession

Azimah was telling me I should change my blog title to Photofreak instead of Dancaerobic. Haha.. Well might be someday or I might change it to dancaerobicphotofreak. :)
Anyway I went to Borders and saw camera magazine describing the camera which I had bought, Pentax K100D Super. Initially when I bought this camera I was a little bit sceptical. But after persuasion from Adam, Zul and now from the UK top photography magazine, I am proud to have Pentax K100D Super as my Camera. There are pro and cons about the camera but generally it is a good quality camera. It was described as value for money especially for beginners like me and people with tight budget {like me too, :) }. The best of all, the camera rating was 86%. High point for Image quality (18/20) and Value (18/20). Sure I will use this camera at least a year until I am able to perform well with my new obsession. Once I am becoming better, I might charge it. For the time being I will use Pentax K100D Super and save some money for my next mission possible. :)

Iced Chocolate

"Enak Banget nich"......
:)
First I thought when I ordered Iced Chocolate, it will be Chocolate drink with Ice cube. But instead Chocolate with Ice cream. Mmmmmm. Want some. :)
This was my second time ordered Ice Chocolate for the past 2 weeks at Lygon Mall.

Right Here Waiting

I took for granted
All the times
That I thought it would last somehow
I hear the laughter I
tasted the tears
But I can't get near you now
Oh, can't you see it baby?

You've got me going crazy

I wonder how We can survive
This romance
But in the end if I'm with you
I'll take the chance

RIGHT HERE WAITING (Richard Marx)

WILLIAMSTOWN

( Point Gellibrand-Williamstown)

A moment like this
Some people wait a lifetime
For a moment like this
Some people search forever
For that one special kiss
Oh I can't believe it's happening to me
Some people wait a lifetime for a moment like this.

Everything changes but beauty remains
Something so tenderI can't explain
Well I may be dreaming but till I awake
Can we make this dream last forever
And I'll cherish all the love we share

A MOMENT LIKE THIS (Kelly Clarkson)

(People, Piers and Pelicans - Hobsons Bay - Williamstown)

When I was young
I never needed anyone
And making love was just for fun
Those days are gone
Livin' alone
I think of all the friends I've known
When I dial the telephone
Nobody's home

All by myself
Don't wanna be
All by myself
Anymore

All By Myself - Celine Dion

(People, Piers and Pelicans - Hobsons Bay - Williamstown)

Ev'rybody's looking for that something
One thing that makes it all complete
You'll find it in strange places
Places you never knew it could be

Some find it in the face of their children
Some find it in their lover's eyes
Who can deny the joy it brings
When you find that special thing?
You're flying without wings

Some find it sharing ev'ry morning
Some, in their solitary lives
You find it in the works of others

A simple line can make you laugh or cry
You find it in the deepest friendships

The kind you cherish all your life
And, when you know how much that means
You've found that special thing
You're flying without wings

FLYING WITHOUT WINGS (Westlife)

(Hobsons Bay - Williamstown)

A whole new world
A new fantastic point of view
No one to tell us no
Or where to go
Or say we're only dreaming

A whole new world
A dazzling place I never knew
But when I'm way up here
It's crystal clear
That now I'm in a whole new world with you
Now I'm in a whole new world with you

(A Whole New World - Aladdin theme songs)

( Williamstown )
Close your eyes, give me your hand, darling
Do you feel my heart beating
Do you understand
Do you feel the same
Am I only dreaming
Is this burning an eternal flame

I believe it's meant to be, darling
I watch you when you are sleeping
You belong with me
Do you feel the same
Am I only dreaming
Or is this burning an eternal flame

Grocery Store - We do the Math for you.

Went to ALDI for my monthly supply. Had to go to the city though. It the nearest ALDI's store to Footscray I think. For me it worth of buying. The same numbers of items or even less if I buy at other Hypermarket (Coles or Safeway) and I can still save about AUD 10 or more each time I did my groceries. If you are looking for branded products so this is not the place for you.

Mobile Phone HTC

Just upgraded my phone plan package. It more than a year and I thought why not I changed and upgrade my phone since Three company had came out with new mobile phones package. I am still using the same plan package I used previously only need to add amount of money for my monthly bill for the next two years (as if I am paying my installment for my phone). Since I already had SLR camera and my PDA was out of order, I have decided to get mobile phone with PDA. It has window live, office mobile, Wifi, Wireless LAN, GPS with car kit device and etc. The GPS service itself is included with installed Australian Map. Great easy for travelling next time without bring along my thick Melway or others map book. :)

Learning Process

I am in a learning process of my new developing skill. I am already 'hook up' and really crazy with it. Read, asking questions and practice as frequent as I could. I went to meet Adam again yesterday. Asking few questions and taught me few skills. He even suggested me to buy book, 'Digital Photographer's handbook by Tom Ang'. Which I did bought it of course. :) . The book cost me AUD 70, well knowledge is not cheap.

Relaxing time on top of the world

On Top of the world - Eureka Skydeck 88

I have been planning for quite a while try to get to the top of Eureka Building. The highest building in Australia and even the highest vantage point in the southern hemisphere. Wow. Once I reached the building, I was a bit nervous though coz I have height phobia. :)
Reaching the 88th floor was a great fear and a great opportunity to 'cure' my height phobia. Not bad at all. But I could feel the building swaying because of the strong wind.
Wasting no time, took as many pictures as I could. Was still early though and not many people when we reached the top. Me and Zul had plenty of time and space for our self, taking individual photos. :)

The government house.

Rod Laver stadium

The Federation Square

St. Kilda beach

The memorial

It was not a good sunset view yesterday. So much clouds. Everybody was really frustrated

Dockland after sunset

I was a bit disappointed. Even though I was on the top of the highest building, I can't get good pictures of Melbourne at night. Basically because of the reflection from the tinted glass window. Mmmm still a lot to learn and might get polarised lens to over come this problem. Zul was saying Rialto Melbourne observation deck was even better. He managed to take good pictures of night view from there. Well my next mission is Rialto Building.
