Pick Your Own Berry - Blue Hills Orchards, The Journey

Had planned going for berry picking with Zul one week earlier. We thought of going last weekend, but no public transport in service on weekend to this area. At first only two of us but then Zahri and Wan were joining us last minutes. Other wise we have rented a car. But it alright , it was nice to go with a big group.
Took Belgrave train line early morning (the earliest train to Belgrave) then took a bus towards Lilydale (Bus 663) and stop at Parker Road, Silvan. From the junction of Monbulk and Parker Road we have to walk for half an hour. :) . Good job guys, hehe as for me it was part of my daily exercise so no problem at all. Enjoying the scenery while walking to the farm.

Blue Hills Orchards is not the only berry farm in these area. There are few around Parker Road, but I choose Blue Hills Orchards by my instinct. I did research about berry picking since a week ago and called the farm to get further information.
Reached at the farm about half past nine. Not many people yet, we are actually the first to come then few minutes later 2 other groups arrived. Paid AUD 10 per entry included 1 kg of berries for each of us. Additional need to weigh it and pay extra.

(some part of the farm area)

It was a great weather, shinny and warm initially. The farm area is huge. Many types of berries grows in this farm.

We spent 2 hours in the farm. By the time we went back , buses of tourists start pouring to the farm. So fortunate we came early.

We was really lucky by the time bus arrived and picked us up, it started to rain heavily.
