Garage Sale - Dendenong

Yesterday I have decided to do a different kind of shopping. Garage sale shopping, haha it was interesting and exciting saw most of the customers bargaining at garage sale. Some of the owners doesn't care how much they sold as long they can get rid of the items out of their house. And you might be surprised some of the items were still brand new, they have not even use it and still in good condition. The prices was really unbelievable cheap.

It was my first experience did garage sale shopping. Planned it earlier with Aznan. Reached Dendenong at 7.10 am.

Met with the rest at Aznan's house. Din's and his wife then Mohd Noor and his wife (just met them and they were nice friendly couple) will join us. Then the shopping spree begun. :)

I have lost counted how many houses we went. Suppose just 7 houses instead we went more than that. 7 houses were official advertised in news paper but on our way we saw other places as well. God everybody going 'nuts' stopping at any places with garage sale signage. :). I was enjoying myself, really enjoyed it very very much.


Aznan and his wife could bargain very well. The price was already cheap but they manage to get it even cheaper. Then, Din's and his wife were the biggest buyer among us. Interestingly all of us paid with coins. :). So most of us don't feel like 'spending' because of using coins. I can't forget Din's was paying AUD 15 with coins and the owner said 'just give me what ever you have'. Hahahaha...

Toys and gardening equipments/decorations were among the top items din and his wife bought. Din's like gardening, it shows why he bought the gardening equipments

Finally after 4 hours shopping. I can't imagine we had covered Dendenong area. Tiring but was really exciting and I am having fun 'shopping' even though I just spent AUD 7 for 5 item.

On our way back saw a guy riding Harley Davidson.
